We recommend following our programme for at least six months to see significant results. However, the programme is set up as a monthly subscription so you can take it one month at a time.

Weight loss treatment, like any treatments, can cause side effects. Most people only experience mild and short-term effects like decreased appetite, vomiting, constipation, indigestion and stomach pain. These side effects typically improve as your body adjusts to the weight loss treatment. For more detailed information, you can refer to the patient information leaflet included in your weight loss treatment box or speak to your dedicated clinician during your weekly review.

Weight loss treatment alone can help you lose weight, but it will not help you keep it off. That is why we pair treatment with additional physiotherapy and mental health support, to help you keep the weight off after you stop the treatment.

Weight loss treatment may be an option for you if you are aged between 18-75 years and your Body Mass Index (BMI) is 30 or higher. It is also available if your BMI is 27 or more and you have certain weight-related health conditions. Remember, weight loss treatment should be part of a complete plan that includes eating healthily and staying active. At eMed, we offer more than weight loss treatment by encouraging long term weight loss through lifestyle change and supportive weight loss behaviours.
